The UPB is made up of four student run committees. Join as many as you like, your level of involvement is completely up to you!

University Events Committee

This committee plans Homecoming Events, Welcome Back Events, carnivals, numerous large scale university events and novelty events such as Stuff-a-Plush and the Stress Free Zone.

Meetings: Tuesdays @ 8 PM

Speakers Committee

Our lectures address important issues in our society and pop culture themes. They allow for exploration in a variety of areas from politics to entertainment by bringing in major lectures such as: Frank Warren with PostSecret, Jack Hanna, Bobby Seale, “Remember the Titans” head coaches, Dr. Maya Angelou, sex education lectures and debates.

Marketing Committee

Our marketing committee works with the other committee's to market, promote, and advertise for all UPB events.  They produce ads, posters, banners, and kiosks.  Marketing gets the word out to let students know that we are here to help them have fun during their years at SRU.

Concerts Committee

The best in local and national talent are brought to campus by this committee. Some of the bands who have performed at SRU include: Drake, Day 26, Gym Class Heroes, Fabolous, Dierks Bentley, Trace Adkins, Ludacris, T.I., Goo Goo Dolls, Busta Rhymes and The Clarks.
